Eastside Fire & Rescue recently completed their first Strategic Plan process which will provide a path to improved community support and services. In addition, EF&R recently added four “lateral firefighters” to our ranks. These members have previous fire service experience, which provides the opportunity for a quicker “initial” training phase and improved professional knowledge and experience.
They have also recently completed a remodel of Fire Station 76 in the Mirrormont neighborhood. Some of their most enjoyable community activities are just around the corner and they welcome you to join them.
The Pancake Breakfast sponsored by the University House is being held on December 3 and the Reindeer Engine community visits will begin in December. For more information www.eastsidefire-rescue.org.
