Announcing Salmon Days Design Contest Winners!


The Issaquah Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce the winners of this year’s OhFishal Salmon Days Design Contest. Salmon Days is a long-standing family friendly event that started 49 years ago to promote stewardship of our local salmon and streams. Each year over 150,000 local and regional guests venture to Issaquah to welcome our salmon home.

The winning artworks will on display at the Ohfishal 2019 Salmon Days 50th year kick off press conference at the Issaquah Salmon Hatchery on Tuesday, June 11th at 10 am. Artwork will be considered for various areas of the festival including retail merchandise, signage and promotion.

Entries were judged based on the following:

  • Age: 18 years and under, over 18 years of age

  • Suggested themes: 50 Ways to Save the Salmon, 50th Year, Issaquah Life Style, Commitment to Salmon and the Environment

  • Originality and Attention To Detail

We extend our gratitude to all participating artists for sharing their talents and passion for our salmon through this contest. Our winners will be receiving a commemorative Salmon Days merchandise swag bag.

Sammy the Salmon invites you to mark your calendars for the Salmon Days Festival on October 5 & 6th 2019.

  • The 2019-2020 Salmon Days Design Contest will launch on June 15th and run through September 21st, 2019. Entries will be displayed at this year’s festival for public viewing and judging.
